Originally from Colorado, Tammy Ash Perkins has made Hawaii her home since 1992. She founded First Class Weddings, Inc. in 1994 and has since planned thousands of weddings. She was honored with the “Women Who Mean Business” award given to the top 25 women-owned businesses by Pacific Business News and has featured a wedding on The Travel Channel. She is a member of the Better Business Bureau, and as a board member of Maui Youth and Family Services (MYFS), she currently helps raise funds for the nonprofit agency in support of the organization’s mission to help build better lives for Hawaii’s families. She lives on Maui with her husband, Todd, and 16 year-old daughter, Melanie.
